Scott is the President of the North American Fiddling Judges Association and joins the New England Fiddle Contest every year to sit on our judges' panel...but that's not all! He has performed for years and composes as well. Need a custom tune as a gift? Go see Scott! Much of Scott's fiddling influence stems from Graham Townsend, Don Messer, Al Cherney, Paul Menard, and more recently, Calvin Vollrath.
Northeast Fiddlers Association, Inc. (Vermont)
The Northeast Fiddlers Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization comprised of fiddlers, other musicians, and music fans located in the Northeastern Regions of North America. Its home office is located in the state of Vermont.
Hartford Community Dance, Fiddle Centered Music (Connecticut)
Affiliated with the
Country Dance and Song Society, HCD's jam sessions provide a great opportunity for new and experienced musicians to learn, play, and enjoy the contra-dance repertoire. They play a mixture of standard contra tunes; mainly reels, jigs, and waltzes.
